Rodeo is a sport based on the skills required for working with animals in a farm. Today rodeos are more common in the U.S, Canada, Mexico and it consists of several different modalities and judged events involving cattle and horses to test the speed and skills of the human cowboys and cowgirls, the athetes who participate on the competition. 
This sport has many forms of competiton such as: Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Steer Wrestling and Roping. All of the animals which participate in the competitions are safely protected by law, so rodeos are legal. In Brazil, there are some popular rodeos events such as Americana, Jaguariúna but the most famous one is ' Festa do Peão de Boiadeiro ' in Barretos-SP, and the party happens in August and it lasts 11 days.
Therefore, rodeo is a very beautiful and happy event where people have fun. Nowadays anyone can go to a party and watch country music concerts, see the competitions, the people and wear the typical clothes, like hat, boots, belts and basic jeans. So let's have fun!!
