The band played in festivals, events, with other indie bands. For the three teenagers, was only the beginning. Were already starting to have recognition. On August 2003, the drummer Teruki joined on the band. On March 2004, their first release, Candyholic, was launched by the independent label Loop Ash. The success was immediate. In two weeks, the band reached the top on Oricon singles chart. Their first solo presentation of the band, Happy Birthday Tsuyu, was happened this year, in Takadanodaba. The tickets for the concert exhausted quickly. At the next months, the band made another tour, and launched more Singles: 69 and Komou Cosmos and the live-single Touhikairo. The reviewed Shoxx launched a DVD about this single.
At December, An Cafe made a small tour. On 2005, the band launched your first EP (a compilation of singles), Amedama Rock, and after, launched a new single, Karakuri Hitei. In 2007, Bou unjoined the An Cafe. After this, the first single with their new integrants was announced as "Kakusei Heroism" followed by "Ryuusei Rocket". In the end of 2007, An Cafe announced their first overseas tour, taking place in Europe in 2008.
In the opening weeks of 2008, An Cafe announced their upcoming single, "Cherry Saku Yuuki!!" in February, as well as their next studio album, Gokutama Rock Cafe, which was released on April 9, 2008.
